A good quality small antique Edwardian mahogany lady’s writing desk with drop leaves. With hinged stationary rack fitted with single frieze drawer and drop leaves on fluted square tapered legs and spade feet. In a mellow mahogany with a rich patina. Would make an attractive hall table, side table or desk for a laptop. It has a working lock and key to the drawer. Would have originally had a leather writing surface. Dating from circa 1910.

Good condition – solid and sturdy. Nice patina to the wood. Marks, scuffs and wear commensurate with age. A small section missing to the cock beading on the underside of the drawer. A few small dents to the top of the gallery. The top would have originally have had a leather writing surface.
